A roughly sketched and a simply colored version of Algol's (human form) weapon, Beta Persei!   (he is a part of the fun and amazing group, !!!)

Name: Beta Persei

Symbol: β 

A.K.A: Beta, B.P.

Position: Beta Persei is part of Algol’s three star system (Beta Persei A, B, and C) in the constellation Perseus.

Height: 9’10

Weight:  510 pounds

Gender:  Male

Eye Color: Rich scarlet iris with golden pupils.

Hair Color: Blood red with a hint of ruby. This is because it has been said that Beta Persei’s hair consists of strands of fine blood from his defeated enemies.

Personality Traits: Beta Persei is a rude, hostile, and a belligerent individual known for his violent and destructive nature. Like Algol, Beta has a foul mouth (language) and is menacing and bitter all the time with intense hatred for all. If things don’t go his way, Beta can become extremely aggressive with rage. However, Beta is more intelligent than Algol, in terms of scheming plans and plotting nasty tricks upon others. Unlike Algol, Beta doesn’t go for it too quickly; he always has a plan behind his unfair actions. This difference between him and Algol, whom just “goes for it”, is what causes heated arguments and even violent battles between the two.

Beta may be smart, but he can get impatient, and together with his violent personality, Beta can still become irresponsible with his hostility and aggressiveness. He constantly harasses others with cruel words. He is a bully in this sense, and will not cease to fight until his enemies are killed.

His body structure:  Beta Persei has a powerfully-built torso, with large, muscular arms and legs. His great height gives him a towering and an intimidating feel in addition to his robust, brawny body frame. He is always wearing an armor bounded by chains, which serves as a physical proof of his strict contract with Algol.

Guardian/ moons/ satellites: Beta Persei is associated with the Demon Star, Algol, as Beta is part of his contractor’s three star system. However, he despises Algol and hates him with vengeful and burning hatred.

Base Power: Beta Persei has spikes all around his armor, which serves as his first line of defense against close combats. He can shoot out these spikes by will, or extend them to create a spiked ball effect. Beta also has two long, sharp blades attached to his arm, which can be extended and can launch like darts. His accuracy with launching his spikes are said to be deadly and on point. His two sharp blades can also serve as “hooks” to stab his enemies and drag them towards him to finish them off.

Because Beta has such a large, muscular frame, he lacks very quick speed (agility). But his sensitive hairs and spikes makes up for this deficiency as they can detect minimal movement and let him know of his surroundings, which give him enough time to react and respond in battles. Additionally, Beta is known for his wrestling moves, and can fight well in hand-to-hand, close combats. He also uses his chains to choke and decapitate his foes. 

In his weapon form, anyone that is NOT Algol who tries to grab and use Beta will suffer a painful, scorching, and a burning sensation. This is to prevent anyone taking ownership of Beta, except Algol. Therefore, when Algol uses Beta to wrap his enemies, those enemies are tied in chains that essentially burns, scorches, and melt their skins while being unable to escape.

Closest Companions: Beta Persei has no known close companions. He believes that friendship is a stupid, useless concept.

Hatred: Beta Persei HATES Algol with fiery hatred. Though the two formed a contract with each other, they despise each other’s guts beyond description. Why they made this contract, though they hate each other, is still unknown…but Beta also despises everyone and everything.

Beta Persei’s Background: Beta Persei, shown as a humanized individual above, is originally Algol’s weapon, which consists of two spiked balls connected by a long, single sturdy chain. Beta is only able to possess a human form if Algol wills him to or if something extremely dire happens.

However, he can still communicate with Algol telepathically, or by moving his spikes around or growing extremely heavy. Though Algol may see Beta in his humanized form if he wants to, others, who are not the owner of Beta, cannot see Beta in his humanized form. They still see him as a spiked ball chain weapon.

No one knows how Algol and Beta Persei became acquainted or why they still have the contract between them, but they have their reasons and they are not willing to share it.
