[Mephitis - Solid Form]

A full reference piece for one of my second-generation celestial characters, Mephitis, in his solid form!   (he is part of the exciting and awesome group, !!!)

Each of Mephitis's various forms have their own unique appearance matched with their own different personalities 
While the gas form of Mephitis has a cunning and a subtly cruel personality, his solid form has a more brutal, hard, and ill-tempered personality and his liquid form has an uncomfortably affectionate, fawning, and likable personality  His plasma form has a rather eccentric and odd personality, always filled with restless energy.
Mephitis "morphs" into these different forms depending on how his feeling/mood shifts and/or depending on what he thinks is the best personality for that certain situation. At times, he can control it and/or the four all conflict with one another and/or they switch back and forth uncontrollably until one settles down with dominance. 
Although they are each different, they can never separate into individual forms. They must take turns or somehow balance who gets to be dominant and such  But, they all have connected thoughts and can finish each other's sentences and continue on from one thought to another even through different forms 

So, let me begin with the bio of his solid form!  (each bio for each form will be different for Mephitis since he has various personalities, powers, and appearances! )

Name: Mephitis (Pronounced [muh – fay – tis])

Symbol: N/A

A.K.A: Phitis

Position: Located in the (made-up) Miasma Nebula (Or also known as the (made-up) “Fetor Clouds”), which is found circling around the (made-up) Eden Constellation.

Height: [Cannot be determined due to his various forms]

Weight:  [Cannot be determined due to his various forms]

Gender:  Not certain, but referred to as a male

Eye Color: Eye existence is not certain, but is marked by an eerily glowing white light source. The solid form also has a scar/crack that runs down along his [in his view] left eye.

Hair Color: [Hair existence cannot be identified]

Personality Traits: Mephitis, in his solid form, has a very aggressive, rude, hostile, and bitter personality. He easily holds grudges towards others, and once someone deeply angers him, he makes sure to make that person suffer and makes sure to kill them. He has a dark view about life, claiming that it is unfair, evil, and merciless. His great hatred towards everything fuels his strengths and gives him the most negative mood. For this, the other three forms of Mephitis claimed that it could be difficult to switch forms once the solid form takes over.

The solid Mephitis despises everyone and everything, and is extremely impatient. He tends to destroy things in his path as a way to release his anger, yet he could never rid of the burning, vengeful hatred he has. This intense anger of his sometimes blinds him from consequences of his actions, but the solid form neither cares nor worries over that. He just wishes to make sure everyone and everything feels his wrath. He believes that “everyone needs to suffer and endure miserable experiences…and that NO ONE is spared from the unfair hands of life”.

This pessimistic personality of the solid form makes it very hard to negotiate or even talk with him, as he always tends to attack and fight relentlessly and brutally. He additionally throws negative insults so as to lower his opponent’s confidence and intimidate them. The solid form does whatever it takes to really scar and hurt others, both mentally and physically. He has no sense of sympathy whatsoever, and will relentlessly attack/harass his enemies when he takes over.

His body structure: Mephitis can take on four forms or state of matter, including a liquid form, solid form, gas form, and a plasma form. They each have unique properties and uses, and have their own base powers accompanied to their differing appearances.

Guardian/ moons/ satellites: [None sighted so far…Mephitis is a (made-up) planet that is terrestrial; it also consists of poisonous gas/atmosphere, and the liquid source there is also very toxic. Even the land is toxic to the touch. Everything in Mephitis’s planet is poisonous and dangerous. But Mephitis does not only own a planet, but also owns the Miasma Nebula, which acts like a barrier between the beautiful Eden constellation and the dangerous outside space.]

Base Power: Mephitis has the ability to morph into four states of matter, but in addition to that, he can also create immortal alien slaves in which he orders around to hunt down victims who have stumbled into his nebula. These alien “pets” cannot be killed so long as Mephitis lives and they will keep regenerating after being temporarily slain until their task is completed. These slaves also thrive on his planet, so even if one managed to get into his planet, they will probably be killed.

Mephitis can also create “clones” of himself; this is because since his nebula is so vast, there are many visitors coming from all around. For this, Mephitis evolved an ability to make clones in order to eliminate every visitor coming in into different parts of his nebula. Each clone works independently, but they all have his original personalities and always fulfills their task of eliminating outside intruders. This ability to create a lot of clones also distracts his enemies during battles.

-Solid form: Mephitis resorts to his solid form when dealing with something that needs to be beaten with brutal and heavy force. His body can form into extremely hard and durable structure that can withstand great blows and offenses. With this form, Mephitis can smash his way into anything, and cause a great deal of damage with his weight and hardness. With his solid form, Mephitis can absorb power from the terrestrial portion of his planet. This solid form is great for his offense.

The solid form also has amber-like jewels that juts out from multiple areas of his body. These sharp shards can be launched when he flexes, which can serve as both a defensive and offensive mechanism in which inflicts damages to his enemies while protecting his own self.

When these jewels glow, it shows Mephitis generating large amounts of power within him. Since such great quantity of energy is harvesting inside these jewels, it has been said that the jewels are extremely hot to the touch to the point where it is dangerous to even get close to them. And since these jewels generate power, whenever the solid Mephitis gets furious with rage, he can grow more jewels to give him more power. However, since these many jewels can weigh him down, he occasionally “sheds” these jewels by releasing old ones onto the ground. These discarded shards can still be dangerous as when shattered upon being stepped on, it can stab the foot and cause deep wounds.

The solid form of Mephitis also has one, enormous arm/hand that comes out from behind his head. The arm/hand forms its shape with Mephitis’s hard stones that comes in various sizes. They magnetically connect to each other and can rearrange upon Mephitis’s will to serve for different purposes. They can also detach themselves and launch towards enemies, and even break apart to shower victims with many sharp stones/rocks/jewels. The magnetic forces allow them to form back together into an arm/hand shape and reconnect behind Mephitis’s head.

Other than that, Mephitis, in his solid form, has incredible strength in his two, huge arms. They are so huge that the shoulders are actually connected to the mass of rocks that pile behind his head (where the jewels are also located…this is how he can get extra energy in addition to the jewels he already has on his arms). They can easily smash boulders and obstacles, but has the tendency to slow him down as they are extremely heavy. For this, the solid Mephitis does not have good speed nor skills, but rather relies on full strength instead. When dealing with speed and skill, Mephitis changes forms, but the solid form rather likes to fight till the end and see his victims suffer.

The small stones and jewels that glows and encircles around his legs also serves as another defense/offense mechanism. They can relentlessly bombard opponents with its sharp stones and the burning hot jewels can latch on to victims to burn and even melt their flesh. The magnetic forces, once again, helps to bring them eventually back to Mephitis and keep their circular orbit around him.

Because the solid form has control over the terrestrial part of his planet, this form can summon large boulder to erupt out of the ground for defense or to create an enclosed arena to prevent his victims from escaping. With his large, heavy hands, he can also cause damaging earthquakes and cause fissure in the ground.

Some of the downsides to this form is that because he carries so much weight with his jewels and stones, the solid form must find a good, sturdy strong platform/battleground to fight…otherwise, he would be pulled down by his weight and fall down. As previously mentioned, his speed is not the best, and his anger sometimes makes him perform reckless moves.

-Liquid form: Mephitis resorts to his liquid form when battling in tight spaces. In this form, he can maneuver his way into tight cracks and spaces and can reach to his opponents no matter where they are. He can saturate the ground to make it toxic to stand and fight on, and he also uses this form to drown his victims, or melt them in his acidic liquid form. With his liquid form, Mephitis can absorb power from the liquid portion of his planet and also create acidic rain and acidic storms. This liquid form is great for his speed.

-Gas form: Mephitis resorts to his gas form most of the time (as seen above). It gives him the ability to hover/fly and prevents his enemies from damaging him as his enemies can only pass right through his gas form. By dispersing himself, Mephitis can kill his enemies with his toxic gas, and even melt them with his acidic mists. With his gas form, Mephitis can absorb power from the toxic gas in his planet and from his toxic atmosphere. This gas form is great for his defense.

-Plasma form: Mephitis resorts to his plasma form when wanting to decrease the movements of his opponents. In other words, he uses this plasma-electrical ability to stun enemies for a while, and then shock them to death with thunder, lightning, and other electrical methods. His plasma form is also used to provide him light source (like those of neon signs). Plasma is the most abundant state of matter in space, so this ability of his relies on the infinite source of plasma from outer space. This plasma form is great for weakening his opponent’s conditions.

Closest Companions: Mephitis has no closest companion(s); since he hates everyone and everything so much, he fails to understand the concept of friendship and companionship. He rather destroys other people and things rather than befriending them.

Hatred: The solid form of Mephitis hates EVERYBODY and EVERYTHING. He firmly believes that everyone deserves to be hated, that everyone deserves to feel some form of misery in their lives, and that everyone deserves to feel the unfair wrath of life, no matter who you are.

Mephitis’s Background: Not much of Mephitis’s personal background is known as no one really knows about him, but everyone who knows the rumors of the Eden Constellation also knows very well of the rumors of the Miasma Nebula.

The Miasma Nebula is a nebula owned by Mephitis and no one else. It acts as an extremely thick circular barrier, created by Mephitis, between the dangerous outside space and the supposedly perfect Eden Constellation. Rumors say that the Eden Constellation is a beautiful place filled with luscious food, gorgeous sceneries, and abundant riches...gold, and jewelry of all kinds. It creates the perfect living conditions for planets and stars, and is essentially, a perfect paradise for any Celestial bodies. People are always attracted to the dream-like place, but no one has passed the Miasma Nebula to see the rumored constellation.

The Miasma Nebula is a black mass of expansive and large interstellar clouds in which nothing can be seen beyond due to its inky darkness. All the lights of the stars disappear, and one won’t be able to even see his/her hands up in their faces in that darkness.

Though the existence of the Miasma Nebula is well-known, no one knows that it is own by Mephitis as those who happen to stumble/venture into the nebula never survives to come back and share the tale. They are mostly eaten and killed by Mephitis’s alien slaves, dies from the toxic gas if not prepared well, or dies in starvation and thirst from being lost in the seemingly eternal darkness. These bodies are never to be found for they eventually melt and perish in the toxic interstellar clouds/gases. But people who passed by around the Miasma Nebula claims that they can hear despairing pleads and horrifying screams from within inside the black clouds…created by unfortunate victims being killed or being lost. For this, the Miasma Nebula also earned the title, “The Black Trap”.

Meanwhile, with all of these deaths going on, Mephitis, himself, never really shows himself to others as his slaves usually fulfill the killing job for him. And because Mephitis always effectively eliminates incoming visitors into his nebula, he also claims the Eden Constellation as his and all of its supposed riches and beauties to himself.

It is because of his selfish nature that Mephitis always kills any visitors wanting to see and visit the Eden Constellation. He claims that it is, “HIS”, and no one else’s…that its beauty is too delicate and precious to be “infected by greedy and curious hands of outside intruders”…even though he is greedy himself.
